Jumpsuits are tricky little game for us petites. It’s either a need-to-put-this-on-instagram-immediately hit or a need-to-return-immediately and never be seen in it again miss.
The big cousin to the romper, jumpsuits are a no-fail outfit that can worn for any occasion from brunch to a wedding, & give off a chic 70s-but-modern vibe that I'm a tad obsessed with.
When browsing jumpsuits for the ~less than tall~ it's important to look at leg length. You'll want to opt for capri/ crop styles, (which is, not what I did with this jumpsuit but I digress) If you do go for full length, make sure you have some wedges or heels to wear with it so the hem goes up just a smidge.
You'll also want to look for suits with a waist that gives ya some definition, & minimal designs, especially if you're going for a bolder color like red. Double points if it has POCKETS. Is it just me or does sticking your hand in your pocket and standing up straight add ten inches to your legs?
My favorite places for finding good petite suits are f21 (they don't have an actual petite line, but a lot of their pants/ suits are culotte & capri length) & asos. Research! Read reviews & take measurements. It's an extra step that's worth it in the end.
