If you asked me to sum up life with Stevie in a single photo, this would be the one.
A little fuzzy, not super put together, awkward because she's totally not paying attention to me, but still a love fest.
It's been a year since the fireball of weird locked eyes with me in the shelter and in that year I've learned some key important things:
1// Never leave a pup alone with her vices. Destruction will occur and socks will be wet.
2// Prepare to never eat anything in peace ever. See, this is when pups are in their prime. It's determination at its finest. They will find a way to get a piece of that burger that you just ripped from their grasp.
3// You'll soon forget what actual silence sounds like. In its place? Barking. Always the barking.
4// You'll attempt to understand their ways, but you'll never quite get how they can lay in such unnatural positions or why they have a vendetta against innocent bicyclists.
Oh well.
I guess that's part of the mystery.
