Outfit of the Day: Memorial Day

Tuesday, May 28, 2013

Yesterday was a day of barbecues, fun, and remembering our fallen. One of my favorite parts of Memorial Day? My outfit. This year I went semi casual, with white shorts for 'Merica.

Burning Red.

I went to Taylor Swift's Dallas concert last night. It was.. incredible. I was able to see her on her Fearless tour, and it had been too long since I'd seen her live. I got to go with my cousin Karin, who shares my indescribable love for Taylor, and the whole night was lovely. Here's some highlights:

I love her and Ed Sheeran singing together.

The finale was kind of perfect.

I'm already suffering post-concert depression. It was so amazing. If you get the chance to see Taylor live, don't miss it. It's beautiful.

TV Talk: New Girl

Wednesday, May 22, 2013

It's May, which means the ever-dreaded season finales in TV world. New Girl is one of my shows that I adore. The finale actually aired a couple weeks ago, but I hadn't gotten around to watching it until today. I laughed my way through the episode, as usual. I was a little worried that Nick and Jess would be over before they started, but of course all was well in the end.
And how funny was my girl T. Swift as Elaine?

But seriously, overall it was a satisfying finale. But now all my shows are on hiatus. Sigh. Here's to the countdown to Pretty Little Liars! Happy TV watching.

Oh hey it's my first post.

Hello, everyone! I have created this blog in hopes of sharing my inspirations of life, and in turn maybe inspire you in the process.
Speaking of inspirations, in honor of Woman Crush Wednesday I thought I would share a "woman crush " of mine who greatly influences my style. She is always so poised and classy, and I feel she could even make Crocks look good. (Okay, maybe a bit of an exaggeration.) So, drum roll...........

This lovely lady!

Just look at this. Why can't I look that flawless walking across the street carrying flowers?
I love how Lauren isn't afraid to mix up her style, and she can pull off that effortless but polished look perfectly. Her dresses are some of my favorite pieces from her collection at Kohl's.
Not only is her style lovely, she has also become a successful businesswoman. I just love her. Stay beautiful, LC!

Well, that does it for my first post. Did I do okay? Haha. Talk to you lovelies later. Happy blogging!
